17% Increase In Median Sales Price For Valencia, Ca Homes

The Valencia Ca home market has been quite heated. Taking a look at the median sales price of a home in the Valencia area of Santa Clarita back in July 2013, it was $400,000. Fast forward a year, and homes in Valencia have a median sales price of $469,000 for July 2014.

That’s a 17% increase.

Valencia is by far and away the most in-demand area of the Santa Clarita Valley with respect to home shoppers. It is more pricey, though. Condos and townhomes in the Valencia area can run up to the upper $300k and $400k ranges. It could be there has been a pull-back from home shoppers in the attached home market, and thus leaving the majority of what’s selling in the single family home realm. Which would increase the median sales price for the area.
