The August 2014 edition of the Santa Clarita Real Estate Insider newsletter is now out! What’s happening in our local SCV home market? Is there really a pull-back from home buyers, or is the sentiment somewhat skewed by a bunch of over-priced home sellers trying to get above market value-type prices in order to make their next purchase?

The September 2014 closed home sales in Santa Clarita will likely be very revealing about the health of our real estate market. Right now, the number of escrows being opened is huge! As of August 18, 2014, the number was about 385. Depending on how the remaining two weeks of this month are… closed sales in September and the first half of October could be much larger than we’re used to.
