Fun Friday: Golden Spoon Valencia

It’s fun Friday and we are happy to announce that GOLDEN SPOON is BACK in Santa Clarita! Can you tell we’re excited? Golden Spoon has officially opened its doors in Valencia. They have a new concept, and new atmosphere that really changes the way you look at Frozen Yogurt. Traditionally Golden Spoon has had a service counter where you waited to be helped. The owner Adam Smith has created a pilot concept for the company of self serve fro- yo which will be charged by weight. Additionally he hand picked all the decor himself. From wooden floors and iron stools, to golden spoons hanging from twine. It is simple, trendy and beautiful.

What makes this story so great is that Adam is a Santa Clarita native himself. As a teenager he worked at Golden Spoon and made his way up to management and eventually a corporate trainer. Over time he acquired three of his own stores, including the one he started in. The cherry on this frozen yogurt story is that Adam is only 26! As business entrepreneurs ourselves we have a deep admiration for local community members striving and succeeding in their business ventures.

To kick off their opening weekend they are giving away 6oz of frozen yogurt, per-person, everyday from June 24-26. So stop on by and beat the heat with a frozen treat. Golden Spoon Valencia is located at 23886 Copper Hill Dr, Santa Clarita, CA 91354 (same shopping center as Albertsons, next to Baby Tuna and UPS Store)
