Mickalson Group: Brittany Sanders

Happy last day of June. Today we are rounding out our the first segment of our #TeamThursday interviews and sitting down with Brittany Sanders. Check out her interview below!

What is your position with the Mickalson Group?
I am a licensed Real Estate Agent, Executive Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, and Client Care Manager. Essentially if the team is the wheels, im the grease that keeps everything running smoothly! It is challenging but very rewarding.
How long have you been in Real Estate? 
I actually just celebrated my first year last week. It’s been a whirlwind of an experience.
What made you decide to get into this business?
Real Estate has always been something I found to be interesting. I actually remember as a kid saying I want to find people houses. I think then it was just because I was a nosey kid and wanted to see what people’s houses looked like. Now I would say I still hold the same reason, but also that buying a home is the American Dream. There is something very special about being apart of that.
What advantages to clients have, by choosing you, or your team to work with? 
Well, between our team we have 20+ years experience. Also, being a native of Santa Clarita I have first hand experience in the many different communities the valley has to offer. Between those two things, I can’t see why anyone would want to work with anyone but us.
What is your favorite part of this job?
Closing Escrow! As I said, owning a home is the American Dream. It’s the biggest financial decision most people will make. It is a very unique and rewarding experience to see the pride on a families face when they own a home. Also, I really enjoy Marketing. We are dawning on the age of the millennial spearheading the market. Being apart of that generation I have the unique perspective of what that age group looks for, and what catches their attention. Simple, clean, and to the point.
What is your least favorite part of this job? 
I can honestly say I dont have one. I really enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life.
The team has recently grown, and are continuing to grow, what goals do you have for the future? 
Yes, we recently just brought on a new buyer’s agent Lauren. She is great. My goal is to help every member be as successful as I believe they can be. A happy team that builds each other up, because when one succeeds we all succeed.
Do you have a favorite memory in real estate? Whether it be a specific client, a transaction, or in general?
I can’t say that I have a favorite, but I can say I love delivering client gifts. Whether it’s a closing gift, a card, or door drop gift I enjoy it all. Holidays and Birthdays are my favorite and the look of someone’s face when they receive something unexpected is really wonderful. It’s also nice to get out and have face to face time with all of our past, present, and potential future clients. In the age of technology little gestures like that really make the difference in my opinion.
