Offer On Santa Clarita Home – Include A Personal Letter To Seller

I’ve always been a fan of a buyer writing their own letter to a Santa Clarita home seller in order to convey why their offer should be chosen. It’s become quite difficult over the last few years for letters such as this to have that big of an impact since it’s been a sellers’ real estate market here in Santa Clarita.

The other day though I was reminded of the importance of a letter that not only conveys to the seller the buyers interest in the home, but a convincing bio on the buyer as well. Why should the seller select your offer?Ā Especially when there are other offers to choose from.

Recently I had a buyer on a Valencia home submit an offer along with a very convincing letter to the seller as to why the seller should select the buyer’s offer.

The offer was accepted!

And I honestly think that if it weren’t for that letter… the offer may not have been accepted.

When you’re submitting an offer on a Santa Clarita home, ask your agent if writing a letter to the seller would be a good idea. Speaking of agent… do you have a Santa Clarita real estate agent advising you on home buying opportunities? Advising you on the ins and outs on how to get your offer accepted?

No?

  1. Hey Robert, I commented when you posted this on your Google+ page. I did not realize you actually used this and that it worked. Good for you. Whatever it takes to get a client what they need. I like the new site.
