Posting Your Santa Clarita Home On Zillow Make Me Move

Santa Clarita Home Sellers and Make Me Move by Zillow
Looking to sell your Santa Clarita home? By yourself? Have you looked at Zillow’s Make Me Move tool?

When going to sell your Santa Clarita home, there are a lot of marketing measures a real estate agent will take to maximize exposure to potential buyers. If you decide to go at it alone and sell without an agent, you’re much more limited in the exposure your home will receive. One new method for spreading the word to the general public however is Zillow’s Make Me Move. This isn’t necessarily For Sale By Owner homes only, it’s also your average homeowner posting their home and its details, with a price target that would, well… Make Them Move!

While this is a beacon to the millions of users who traffic Zillow’s website, it’s also a notification to real estate agents that you’re interested in potentially selling your home. Expect to get some calls, emails, and maybe even some door knocks from agents looking to earn your business!

While I don’t recommend selling your home without a licensed real estate agent due to the risk management aspects involved, I know there are always a small percentage of homeowners that will try anyway! Posting your Santa Clarita home on Zillow’s Make Me Move is one extra measure you can utilize that could maximize exposure without your home even being actively for sale. It’s a great way to test the waters on a price that’s “testing” the market.

Here are some quick facts regarding selling your home as a For Sale By Owner, as per this article from the National Association of Realtors:

  1. I noticed this as well. My mom, who sold her home without and agent, got about $15k less than she should have. I think the reach of the MLS adds quite a bit more value to the bottom line.
