Sometimes I get asked questions from my home buyers about investing in Santa Clarita real estate. One of the most common questions I receive has to do with the rental yield. That is, how much return will they get on their investment.

What That Contains

The Rental Yield Worksheet will show you how much estimated income you’ll receive annually, it will show you what your estimated expenses will be annually, and it will show you what your estimated return on the investment (yield) will be after all the income and expenses have been accounted for.

Just today I saw the perfect condo for sale in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita. It was a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath condo. It could easily rent out for about $1,400-1,500 a month. The asking price on this distressed property is almost $170,000. Pretty good when recent comps are showing $190’s and low $200’s.
