Santa Clarita 4th Of July Parade

It is officially the first day of July which means the Annual Santa Clarita 4th of July Parade is just around the corner. Beginning as far back as 1930, this is a much anticipated event by the community.  Taking place in downtown Newhall, this is a family friendly event for everyone.

Before the parade begins check out the Santa Clarita Rotary Club PANCAKE BREAKFAST in the Roger Dunn Golf parking lot on San Fernando Road between 5th and 6th streets. Later at 7 a.m. Santa Clarita Runners’ 10K RUN-WALK starting and ending at Newhall Park, followed by the Santa Clarita Runners’ 5K RUN-WALK starting  at 8 a.m. Finally, at 9 a.m. the parade beings.

This year the parade will feature a variety of floats, cars, bands, and volunteers. From the SCV Sheriff’s station, to the Canyon High School Cheer Team, and even the Vietnam Veterans Lost Patrol (Colorguard).  If you would like the full event line up check it out here.  At 9:20 p.m. CITY OF SANTA CLARITA FIREWORKS SHOW begins at Westfield Valencia Town Center; to be shot off from the roof of the parking lot above Buca del Beppo restaurant, or you can check out another display in Stevenson Ranch.
