The Case For Saugus Homes And Condos Over Valencia Real Estate

More often than not, when I’m working with home buyers who aren’t all that familiar with the Santa Clarita Valley, they tend to go for Valencia area homes and condos. Areas such as Saugus, Castaic, or Newhall… tend to be a second choice, or choice unknown altogether. Valencia has a lot to offer, and some beautiful communities.

When looking at what you get for the money though, you may be presently surprised and happy with your housing options in the Saugus area of Santa Clarita.

You’ll tend to get more sq ft for the money and possibly even a larger lot for the money. While Saugus may not have the Valencia paseo system that will connect you to community draws such as the Valencia Town Center, Saugus still has beautiful neighborhoods, great schools, and a great community atmosphere situated within the northern portion of the Santa Clarita Valley, away from the freeways.

Where you’ll find a lot of value, is what you get for the money in the $400,000 range, for a single family home, compared to that of which you’ll find in the Valencia area, in the same price range.

Go ahead, check out the Saugus homes for sale, as of today, and then compare that to what you can find in Valencia. I think you’ll like the Saugus area as a great alternative option to Valencia, especially in this super low inventory real estate market that we’re experiencing in the Santa Clarita Valley.
