Zero Down For Santa Clarita Home Purchase – USDA Loan

USDA loan in Santa Clarita with zero down
Need zero down loan to buy a Santa Clarita home? Try a USDA loan while you can!

There’s still a limited window of opportunity where you can use a Zero Down Loan to buy a home in the Santa Clarita Valley. The USDA loan offers zero down in rural areas to low income individuals and households who meet certain income requirements when buying a qualifying home.

Unfortunately the USDA zero down loan will no longer be applicable to the areas in the Santa Clarita Valley later this year, as they have updated their maps to reflect a more recent census. The areas where the loan was good for, were west of the 5 freeway. Stevenson Ranch and Castaic; when it comes to the Santa Clarita Valley.

I’m told from a good source, that as of October 2014, you will no longer be able to buy a home with zero down in those areas using the USDA loan.

It’s June 2014 now, so that means you have about 1-3 months left to fund and close a home purchase if you qualify for this program.

Looking to buy a Santa Clarita home? Low on reserves for a down payment? Consider the option of the USDA loan. Perhaps you qualify, and buying a home in the remaining qualifying areas of the Santa Clarita Valley is something that you’d be interested in?
