FivePoint development Valencia, formerly called Newhall Ranch, or is it NetZero?

Whatever they’re calling this mega-development now (name change much?)… the views will be spectacular, and finally the new villages of FivePoint Valencia project are coming to fruition with model homes possibly available by Summer 2020. FivePoint recently announced that they sold 781 home sites to builders who will begin the process of development on the land they purchased.

The 15,000 acre development which will include housing, retail, commercial, schools and parks. With a depleted inventory of housing in the Santa Clarita Valley, the Newhall Ranch development will bring with approximately 21,000 new housing units. While many have expressed their concerns over traffic and congestion, it can’t be denied that introducing so many new homes will also help toward alleviating the housing shortage we’re experiencing in this part of LA County, and possibly help a lack of affordability many first time homebuyers face, due to this type of increase of supply presents to the market. Buyers who can’t find resale homes that are either in their budget or simply due to too little supply, may find what they’re looking for by way of new construction being offered at Valencia’s Newhall Ranch and the enormous supply coming online to the Santa Clarita real estate market west of the 5 freeway.

Check out the aerial video someone posted to YouTube showing the grading taking place behind Magic Mountain where this development is primarily located.
