Happy Friday Santa Clarita! It’s Fun Friday where we highlight a local event or business we love. We have featured this business before, but we are featuring them again for a very special reason. Pocock Brewing Company is back for their 1st Anniversary Beer Festival! Besides the great breweries, music, and food trucks that will be featured at the event, this years event gives back to our community. In line with the spirit of the season, all net proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Castaic Education Foundation and the SCV Education Foundation.
They have a great line up of breweries joining them this year. Some you may recognize and some which may be new to you, but all are equally delicious! As of 11/15 the breweries who will be joining Pocock for this event are:

After you have had your fill of beer, make sure to get some grub from one of the three food trucks on site. This year Shrimp vs Chef, Swami’s Sandwiches, and Tomski Sausage are dishing up some tasty grub to satisfy your hunger. Live Music from The Darryls and The Snareheads will be entertaining the crowd while the event takes place. This is a rain or shine events, no refunds, no exceptions. This event is 21 and over only. (includes non-drinkers). You must have a valid ID for this event for entry and Pocock asks that no children accompany their parents as well as no pets.
General Admission is from (12:30pm-4:30pm) with a ticket price of $50. You will receive a commemorative glass and get unlimited 3oz. pours. Relax and take your time to really enjoy the beers offered. If you would like to upgrade to VIP, ticket price is $100, but has some great perks! VIP begins at 11:30am-4:30pm. Entry to the festival starting an hour before general admission. You also will receive a commemorative glass, as well as a commemorative bottle opener. But that’s not all! After the event, you have a special invitation to VIP after party from 6:00-10:00pm. After Party (VIP ONLY, Pocock Brewing only) you will receive a full-size commemorative glass, 2 free pours, and a fully catered dinner by Dustin Boole, Chef at Newhall Refinery! As well as first access to limited bottle release of 1st Anniversary Beers and special first access to another surprise.
