What Impact Will Santa Clarita Housing Inventory Have In 2019?

In this video Robert discusses how the Santa Clarita Valley real estate inventory is presenting a big opportunity for home buyers. Are you considering buying a home in 2019? Perhaps selling and buying a replacement property? With more homes for sale, to the tune of 28% more as of January 2019 (year over year)…. we are seeing less multiple offers.

The part that really makes this an opportunity though is cheap money! Interest rates are still historically very low. We’ve seen a big ramp up in buyer activity over the last few weeks to start 2019… and we expect 2019 to a great year for buyers looking to get into their forever homes with the prevailing market conditions that we’re now experiencing.

Affordability is still an issue. Some of our clients are settling for homes smaller than they could have purchased a few years ago, because they chose to rent and save up more instead of buying with a lower down payment then. Regardless home prices in the Santa Clarita Valley are a great value when comparing against other top rated areas of LA County. Connect with Robert at the Mickalson Group @ 661-505-1051
