Making Offer On A Santa Clarita Home During Holidays

In my Ask Robert SCV TV video below, I chat about why making an offer on a Santa Clarita home during the holidays is ideal. As many of you know, home buyer competition has been fierce in 2020. It’s a red hot Seller’s Market. Multiple offers is pretty normal on any given listing. Our supply of inventory is at a bottom of the basement level low. This means home buyers have less choices, so they clamor for the same homes, bidding them up at times. What’s driving this demand? Low interest rates on home loans. The purchasing power these low rates enable is very significant. Buyers are able to get more home for their money right now, and many home buyers are finding themselves in work-from-home situations, and they need a more ideal space to live and work from.

Only 225 Santa Clarita homes are on the market as of this day, in December 2020.

As it may seem obvious though, many of those who are in the market for a Santa Clarita home, or in the market to sell a home… they check out during the holidays, only to come back when everyone else does too. And right there is the opportunity for some home buyers who are very serious and determined to net a home at terms that may even be more favorable than after the New Year.

Give the video a watch… let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help you in your journey to either buy or sell Santa Clarita real estate. It’s worth noting I also serve the surrounding Valleys.
